Does anyone know what this is?
It is Bonnie and Camille's first fabric collection, Cotton Blossoms. Seriously, you could not find any of this fabric if you offered up a king's ransom! And I found some, right here in a box in my new sewing studio. How could I a) have forgotten I own this and b) not have used every scrap of it by now?
When this line came out, I was so taken by the mother/daughter concept. Bonnie (mom) designed a color way that was a tad more conventional and Camille (daughter) designed a color way that was more trendy. I loved how this suited their personalities and gave the purchaser such a cool choice. Of course, I was unable to choose which line I liked best, and so ended up with a bit of each.
Since I discovered Bonnie and Camille, I have been smitten with their designs--both fabric lines and patterns. Bonnie's company is called Cotton Way, and Camille's is Thimble Blossoms. I also love how the name of their first collection combined the names of both their companies. Please do check the links to their websites to see the wonderful patterns they have created.
Their new line for Moda, "Ruby", is just out in stores and may be a must for your stash or latest project. Beautiful, isn't it?
Disclaimer: Nope, I am not on their payroll, just a fan.
To send you off to the weekend, here is a gratuitous Baby E pic. My heart. My Evangeline.
Gorgeous fabrics and an even more gorgeous baby. Enjoy your weekend.

Oh my word Nicole, I can't believe how much Evangeline has grown already - and she has the most beautiful eyes! What a little honey :-)
I love the Ruby collection of fabric. I made myself a promise that I wouldn't purchase any more fabric after my big spend in the USA. I hope I don't see that loveliness in a quilt store any time soon, because I know I won't be able to restrain myself.
Be sure to have a great weekend hon.
*hugs*

That certainly is a treasure. I'm in the same boat as you-retired and not a whole lot of extra fabric money so I have been using my stash. Your stash is definitely better than mine though.

Huge fan of Bonnie and Cammile! My favorite fabric line of all times is Cotton Blossoms and my next favorite is Ruby. Can't wait for Vintage Modern to be released as I'm thinking that will be on the list too! I have a quilt top awaiting finishing in Cotton Blossoms and a table topper of the left overs.......LOVE IT! How great for you to find your stash!
Thanks for the Baby E picture!

I too have the Cotton Blossoms range tucked away in my stash. I love all their ranges and have bought all of them. Haven't used them yet but I do have some quilts in mind when I can get to them. Too much fabric, too many quilts to make and not enough time!

I just thought that I would say that I want both the Bonnie and Camille fabric and the Civil War Fabric. Should I leave you my address so you can ship it to me?? lol Just Beautiful! and yes, when you get Fat Quarter Shop purchases, they are bundled very nicely and it does make a difference how a shop sends your purchases to you. Have a great weekend.

Doesn't your heart just sing every time you see that beautiful granddaughter?

OH!!! Seriously, little Evangeline is just darling! Look at those cheeks and that smile! Happy virtual cartwheels that you live just around the corner from your heart!
"Ruby" is such a lovely and cheerful line of fabrics. I have some fabrics in my stash that are similar colors and am determined to use them before buying more. I also have many fabrics - yardage - that are as aged as your found treasures. Have fun making something beautiful out of them all!
Wishing you a delightful weekend, too.
Hugs!

Nicole - What a precious granddaughter you have and how lucky you are that you can see her everyday! Since I've been going through my fabric, I've also discovered a bunch of "treasures" and quite a few "what was I thinking".
Winter isn't through with us yet here in Iowa. It's snowing heavily right now.

I dream about bald babies, I kid you not. Both of my girls were totally hairless, bald as an egg for their first year, at least. Baby E is positively delicious. (So is your evolving studio). Thanks for sharing all of it with us.

Such a cute little girl. And fun fabrics too.

Eeep, that child has the cutest smile! I'm hoarding a Cotton Blossoms (daughter) layer cake and a little bit of coordinating yardage for borders. I just can't decide what pattern suits it best.

I love the 'Ruby' line too! I just have a jelly roll at present.
Beautiful baby E!!!

That is such a pretty line of fabric. Bonnie & Camille do an awesome job on designing these fabric lines - all are beautiful.
Baby E is so cute and growing so fast! I love what another commenter put about the sweet little "carrot-mobile"! Ha!

Even though unpacking everything and organizing it all is a lot of work and probably a bit of a pain, it must be so rewarding to come across these bits and pieces of fabric that you forgot you had - definitely like Christmas!
Enjoy your weekend.
