I have gotten the half square triangles on eight of the sixteen blocks! Woo hoo!
The question is, will I finish this top by Halloween? It is looking doubtful. I may get the half square triangles on all the blocks, but with our family Halloween party this Saturday, I may not get my quota of sewing in. We shall see. I am doing my best.
I have a new activity that is taking up some of my time, and I will tell you all about that tomorrow. Something rewarding, and all together worthwhile.
Here is a photo of Baby E that is just too cute to keep to myself. You can just hear her thinking, "I look good. Real good".
Right after I took this picture, she kissed her reflection in the mirror.
Loving what I see!! The quilt and Baby E! LOL! She is so darn cute. I look forward to your Halloween party recap. The pics are always so much fun! Is this your first year doing the party at your new home? I think I'm losing track of time. LOL!

Wow, you are making great progress! And isn't baby E one of the cutest babies alive? :-)

Looking good! Both baby and blocks. You may not get it done by 10/31/12 but you can get it really done (quilted and bound) by 10/31/13!

Awwwwwwwww! Baby E is just too cute as is her sweet little sweater!
Applause, applause!!!!! Your 1904 blocks are looking wonderful! I suggest you invite party goers to visit your design wall during the party to see Spooktacular in its present glory. What say?
Hugs!

I'm sure you are completely thrilled with your decision to re-do the HST's! You can relax, enjoy your family party and know you'll still have a fantastic quilt for next year!
Baby E is just beautiful! Kissing the mirror is so adorable!
Can't wait to hear about your new activity tomorrow!

Adorable baby and fun quilt! If you can't get it done this year - you have a huge jump on next Halloween! :O) That feels better than the pressure of getting it done for this year! Looking forward to hearing the story tomorrow!

There's always Halloween next year, or the year after. After all, it sounds like that pattern was made in 1904. What's a few more months/years? It's sure looking good! So's your darling girl.

You are making great progress on the quilt. And if it's not done in time for Halloween this year, it will definitely be ready for next year. It is going to be spectacular. As for Baby E, she is soooo cute!

you know what? You don't have to finish it by 10/31! Remember all of those comments about it being a fall (as opposed to a strictly Halloween) quilt? Love the photo of baby E!
