So happy with my elegant Easter tablescape! I finished Joy Luck (pattern by Carrie Nelson of Miss Rosie's Quilt Company), made from the beautiful Little Black Dress fabric collection by Basic Grey for Moda. I quilted it with the wiggle stitch on my Bernina, and am pleased as can be with the results. I had some issue with shorter side borders not fitting after I switched the pattern to a rectangle from a square, but it was an easy fix.
I just removed one strip from one of the vertical Rail Fence border blocks. Can you spy the one with only two strips?
Here is the other side, where I did the same thing:
You don't even notice that missing strip. A man going by on a bus would never notice, as Grandma Higgins used to say. It sure doesn't bother me.
I keep wandering by my little table setting and pausing to admire it. This makes me so happy. It goes with my dishes too.
Here we are, all ready for dinner. And just so I don't forget, I am Number One.
That is really beatiful! Awesome job!

How very elegant Nicole. Love the wiggle stitch quilting. Isn't it fun to have a little finish when our other quilts require more time and assembly. Enjoy.

Its beautiful Nicole!! LOVE the rectangle size too. Makes me want to purchase the same fabric and make one! :) I haven't tried the wiggle stitch but have a few UFOs on the shelf that need to be qwuilted, I think they would be perfect for this stitch. Have a great quilty day!!

Lovely, lovely, lovely!!! You're so right to say it's elegant, too. The crystal goblet and candlesticks, pretty dishes, and the dark vase of forsythia - and the little white rabbit - are charming! You ARE number 1!
We awoke to the surprise of snow this morning when we were supposed to be well south of the snow and just get rain. How delightful! Hope the electricity stays on so I can sew.
Hugs!

Very elegant. Love the tablescape. A nice departure from the jumbles of colors we quilters usually pick. I am always impressed with your interior decorating skills! Very, very good job!

Love this! So understated and elegant... I'm such a fan of changing things up with table toppers. I don't have dishes to match though like you, I just bust out my all purpose whites.

Lovely.... would you explain what your "wiggle" stitch quilting is? Is it FMQ with you doing the wiggling, or is it preset stitch on your machine?
Thanks

This year you're going to have to have 4 or 5 posts on your completed projects! This is very pretty. I can't wait to see you next finish! (no pressure).
