I'm not proud of this. This is a corner of my bedroom, that seems to be expanding by the hour. It is my Christmas gift corner, where I have been dropping my purchased gifts as I bring them in the house. I have a BIG family, and we all exchange gifts. A good proportion of those gifts are in the packages and bags you see above.
Yes, it is a very good thing that so much shopping has been accomplished. However, there remains one very large and time consuming task looming ahead of me this week. I need to gift wrap all this stuff. Oh my. I see hours and hours of gift wrapping in my future. Normal Christmas carols won't do for my inspiration music for this job. I think I need to crank up the Stones and get my wrapping groove on. "Now, I'm gonna tell you how it's gonna be, you're gonna give your love to me...."
Ever heard of gift bag, Nicole? Plop in the gift, stuff in some colorful tissue paper. Voila! Your gift is wrapped. It's the greatest invention of modern times.

That looks like how it was and in my craft room yet, about a week ago! I do sympathize. And at moments like that, I don't want Xmas tunes either--has to be my regular favorites--LOL! Frank Sinatra singing "The Christmas Song" can wait...Good luck with all your wrapping. And Susan's idea above is a good one--gift bag's make light work ;o) Happy Holidays to you & yours ((Hugs))

I think wrapping is gonna be fun! Rock out and sip something you love. Enjoy! And take pictures when you're done so we can see how pretty all the packages look. ;)

Wow, you *are* going to be spending hours! I hope you don't try to do it all in one sitting - you'll be so sick of Christmas!

Oh my, you have a little work to do here! But you are way ahead of me, I have most of the shopping left! Good luck and Happy wrapping!

I am running just a bit ahead of you, as I have wrapped and sent most of my packages to far-away places, thank goodness! Just the ones for friends and family close to home are left - it seems like a never-ending job, but it's an "evil" necessity, isn't it? LOL! I mean Ho Ho Ho!!!!
