I am happy to say that I have made some major progress with the blended quilt challenge. The large toile triangles have been attached, and so has the gold border with four patch corner squares. The thing about medallion quits is that the final reveal is not going to be much of a surprise, since you all can see the quilt growing with each surrounding row! The quilt is also getting rather large with each addition. It may be circus tent size when finished. This actually is nearly finished, with just two more borders to go.
It is sorely tempting to me to tackle a second blended quilt, since I did start a couple while I was waiting for my fabric to arrive for the quilt pictured above. After seeing what Perry, Lisa and Cindy are doing, I just may need MORE! The other girls who are doing the challenge project are making quilts that are more true to the blended method and theory than my effort, so I am itching to make another quilt that is more in keeping with the blended quilt guidelines.
Please check out Lisa, Cindy and Perry's blogs to see how they are progressing with their challenge projects!
It's going to be beautiful! I love the fabrics.

Love how this is turning out Nicole. I wouldn't mind doing another one with you. I would love to do a blue one like you are. What if are next challenge is something else picks out the fabrics for us. I vote that Nicole picks my fabrics. LOL

I don't normally like blended quilts, but this one is really nice. It doesn't get mushy and lose form like many do. I do like the fabrics, more and more.
