I think I would find a Julian who could ease the fit a bit, so to speak. You are braver than I am, that's for sure. Good luck on your new endeavor, I will be rooting for you. And don't give up the teaching idea, you work it too pretty to do that.

The jeans look like mine do. I wear a longer top and then they look good. they stretch after you have them on for a while.

Good morning Senora, good luck on your new clothing business/adventure. You are going to do marvelous. If they are stretchy jeans, I think they do tailor them a little tighter because when you move around they do stretch to your figure. I wear and love these stretchy jeans.

zizzybob

Hey, is that a picture of you or is that a picture of me?

Chris@Cats on my Quilts

I am built exactly like you. I like the "diamond" description! Would like to know what clothes you'll be selling so I can see if anyone sells them around here.

OMG we have the same body. That picture could be of me. I feel your pain.

sara

Momma, they are not that bad... and despite what all your other bloggers comment- that youlook just like them- No, only i get to say that, and we do have the same body. So is Patricia coming this weekend? Are the jeans ruined, can you still wear them?

Kayte

Nicole, you are so funny. I laughed as I was reading the post and then the bird photo just made me laugh harder...the jeans shot looks nothing like the bird, but it was a fun analogy anyway...we probably need a fashion show here with your new ware, dontchathink? Thanks for the laughs...I just love that little bird shot.

Thimbleanna

What a crack up you are -- and that bird picture is hysterical. Not to be a copycat with all your other commenters, but apparently we all share the same body type! Yay for long shirts!!!

Adrienne

Oh, do I identify with the problem. My legs are not skinny but I understand the pants that fit the waist and make the legs too tight. Congratulations on your new venture. May you have the best of success! ~Adrienne~

pam

Oh Senora, you're cracking me up. Can't wait to hear more about the clothes!!

Lisa D.

Oh my - those don't look very comfortable!

redgeraniumcottage

Senora those JEANS!!!!!!!!! ROFLMAO!!!! I swear I look exactly like that only my *&# is bigger than yours!!!! Did you say beach bird???

karen

OMG - that's what I can call my little area - a "hot spot". Only mine got a little more "hot" than yours. I'm for sure a non tucker in of shirts. Glad your feeling better and sounds like your new venture should be a fun one. Thanks for the chuckle :)

Hugs - karen

LOL...I have to laugh about your tailor. As for your last post, I can sympathize. The two classes I've been scheduled to teach at my LQS were not rousing successes. In fact, I only got to teach one -- and that one only had one student. I figure I will keep trying as long as they want me to and see what happens :0).

I would never have a pair of jeans taken in. I love being able to say "These jeans are too big for me."
BTW, I left you an award at Blackberry Creek.

I'm sure Julian will be crushed to find you don't want to wear tight jeans. =) But I bet he'll do better next time. At least you start with a 10, not something really big!

Jill

You're so funny. I have a hard time fitting into pants, too. I have no hips so I usually need to take the seams in, but sometimes the waist doesn't fit either and that's hard to take in, so basically I end up not buying anything. I like summertime when I can wear skirts! Good luck with your business!

Nan

I don't think those jeans look bad at all! You certainly don't look like that bird - LOL! We are our own worst critics, aren't we? Yes indeed!
I am excited to hear progress reports on your new business - I know you will be a total success!
