So, I woke up this morning and thought, "OK, this is the day I get organized! All my UFO's will be catagorized and sorted as to finishing date. I will devote this entire day to that activity and my life will change for the better."
I went into the sewing room, gazed around for a bit, feeling overwhelmed, as usual. I shifted a few things around and thought, "Hmmm, what I need are more project boxes. Yes! That's right, I must go get more project boxes and things will start to happen!"
"But first, I need to organize my make up drawers". One thing led to another, and I ended up looking like a Dutch Doll, with all the make up experimenting I got into. Then I think "I should really go through my shoes and pick out a few pair to donate to the neighborhood garage sale that is coming up. Gosh, I haven't straightened out my bedside table in years, better take care of that. For crying out loud, look at the mess this scarf drawer is in!" About 1:45 I thought, "Yikes! Today is Dog School day! Ozzie and I need to get over there for the 2:00 class. God knows he needs all the help I can get, after the orange shoe incident last week."
I pack Ozzie into the car and we tear through town to get to the Dog Training Class. My Number One Priority at the moment. Funny. We are late, but no one else is there. What the..... Oh. Right. We are in the Wednesday class. Obviously, I am a bit keen to get this damn dog trained. Did I tell you he got into a red lipstick and ate it a couple of days ago? You should have seen him, all red lipped and red pawed. Thank goodness he is a black dog. If he were white like little Remy, I would have had to have him shaved naked to get rid of the stains on his fur. You don't think he is gay do you? The orange shoes, the red lipstick? I am open minded. If Ozzie is gay or bi-sexual, I can totally handle it. But, I digress.
Costco is right next door to the dog training place, so I stopped and loaded up on a few food items. KMart was right there too, so I wandered in to see if they had the project boxes. They were out of the boxes I like. But my oh my, didn't they have a wonderful assortment of the latest magazines? Orchard Supply was right on the way home, so we stopped there and I purchased two more plastic project boxes. Just the sort I am counting on to turn my life around.
We came home and I put away my Costco groceries and put Posh Baskets into one of the new project boxes. Ta Da. Big whoop.
I need help Friends. At the rate I am procrastinating, I will never finish another quilt.
