I have been asked to take on another celebrity stunt sewing mission, for someone known for her beautiful fabric designs and creative patterns. I am not permitted to say too much about the project, but have permission to give you little sneak peeks of my assignment.
The fabric for my project arrived yesterday and in it, there is a sea foam green colorway that is somewhat of a departure from this artist's usual palette. My early morning photo doesn't do the fabric total justice, but I think you can see that it is elegant and soothing and ever so beautiful.
This project has a tight deadline, and will require my complete attention for the next 10-14 days. Yes, I did say 10-14 days. Gulp. Now I know how people in the Quilting World feel when they have to do nothing but sew night and day to get ready for Market. Be careful what you wish for, right? Just kidding. This is a dream come true to for me!!!!
Stay tuned for more teensy peeks at what I am working on!
Congratulations, Nicole. I've always thought you were such an excellent quilter and these "new missions" are just a perfect match for your talent. Who knows where it might lead!

That is beautiful fabric.....can't wait until you can tell all! You do a beautiful job on your quilts so I can see why designers would want you piecing their quilts.

That fabric is scrumptious. I can sympathize with the deadline thing. I used to live with deadlines.
