That beautiful fabric reminds me of linens I'd find at an antique show in Europe. It is just wonderful and I can't wait for it to get to the quilt stores!

Ariadna Fuste

This fabric has the essence of french style. Reds and linen colors capture the charm and atmosphere of France.
IRRISISTIBLE!!!!!!

I love it because it is comfortable looking. It makes me think of a worn comfy sofa and a suggly quilt at Grandma's house on an autumn morning. Memories!

I am absolutely in love with French General and the new Rouenneries line. Why? It's the red. It is the ultimate, perfect, most beautiful red. Not bright, not orangey, but almost an antique cranberry. I want it in a quilt, so that I can wrap myself in that color in the doldrums of February in New England. *swoons*

Carol Lewis

I love the soft colors in this fabric, perfect for my house. You're right it would be perfect for one of my Year of Schnibbles quilts.

Sherry V.

Why would I like to win this fabric? Hmmm, because my DH's favorite color is red. . and this is a fabric line that could give me the chance to make something that he would like for the color as well as the fact that I made it. Then there is the elegance that would allow me to use something made with this for my Victorian inspired living room.

And, of course, just because it is beautiful fabric.

Judy Hamm

Hi Nicole, How I'd love to win that fabric - its gorgeous and appeals to my romantic self. I'm relatively new to quilting (and quilting blogs but yours is one that I visit every day)and don't have a big stash, although it is growing, and this would add to it nicely.

Amy

The gray is "the" perfect tone.

Tricia L.

Wow! I don't know how you can manage to part with it! It's so gorgeous. I can so see that fabric as a beautiful table runner for my new tv stand or my coffee table. Count me in please!

Kate

I would love to win the French Gerneral Rouenneries! It is the perfect combination of me and my mother. She was an antique linen dealer and loved the soft florals and toile. I love the color red and stripes and dots. It would be a perfect collection to use for a memory quilt.

Nancy

How exciting...I have not seen this collection in person, but it looks wonderfully soft and lucious... would love to win some,,,
