Wishing the best for the Grandparents and you. Take care. Mary

The make-up looks fun.

Aging parents. Sigh. That is my anxiety right now. Good luck, and I hope things go smoothly for all parties. Sometimes we get caught up in our worries and forget about the older person and how hard all this is for them also.

Sorry to hear about your in-laws. I hope everything is alright with them. I saw a display for Urban Decay at Macy's this weekend and wondered who would want to put something with that name on their face. I guess I'm showing my age! The colors are pretty.

I am so sorry to hear about your husbands parents. Live gets tricky... and falling becomes a big danger! Not like when your little... and closer to the ground! I hope it is just an adjustment of meds! I am seriously in need of a new look... and all of your tips and tricks on fashion and shoes and makeup are really helpful for me. As you know I live in the middle of nowhere & I'm pretty sure there is no "style" to be found here.

I like the new makeup! Kinda big to fit on my little makeup tray tho, LOL!

As a medical transcriptionist typing for the physiology dept of a hospital (echos, vascular studies) whose patients often enter through the ER, dizziness, fainting and falls are probably THE most common reason for their visits. Very very regular occurrence in the elderly. Last week I typed an Echo on a 104 year old patient. Wowsers!

hopefully it is just a medication issue. Boy, I am going to have to get to ulta and check it out- we have a store about three miles away. I love the earth tones...need to take a little more time and put on some makeup as it makes me feel better about me-self! fingers crossed for your in-laws!

So sorry to hear about your poor in-laws! It definitely is hard on everyone in that situation...wish you could have a magic wand to take them back to easier times! Fingers crossed that it's a medication adjustment.
Love those earth tones! My favorites for sure!

Amy

Nicole, I certainly hope your in-laws will be ok. I think it is an age thing. My mother, aka Aud, is 93 now and has been falling quite a bit lately. She is on oxygen and that seems to help some. It is very frightening to be around and very worrisome.

Debra

My mother had uncontrollable blood pressure for a number of years and ended up with narrowing of the renal arteries which resulted in stents etc. Her blood pressure continued to be a problem and her medication was increased a number of times trying to get it under control. Then the fainting and falling started and there were a number of hospitalizations for that. Finally it was determined that she needed a pacemaker. Fainting and falling stopped, and her blood pressure is now under control. I know that everyone is different but I wanted to share her experience with you. My mother is 87, Dad is 90. Hope things are resolved for your mother-in-law soon. It is just no fun for them to be ill. Sorry for the long post.

Linda

Oh, yes, yes, yes. BP meds can do that. Been there.

Agree with the medical transcriptionist who posted above... VERY common and, as you guessed, most likely can be helped with a medication adjustment.

Why is selling at a market price greedy? I kind of resent that remark.

I ordered Naked this weekend! It only took me 3 weeks to find it!! Too funny. You must watch tiffanyd as well = )

Nancy

We have been working through the same problems with my Mom...Turns out she wasn't taking her medicine properly...She ended up in the hospital ER with a brain bleed..Not good at the time, but doing much better now..although very sad that she can no longer drive because of anti-seizure meds..
