Happy Thanksgiving Friends! I hope you have a very retro holiday, with traditional foods and loads of good memories of Thanksgivings past.
My son is home for the long weekend, and we have a big family feast planned for Turkey Day. I hope you all have many blessings to be thankful for as you sit around your tables. This year has been more of a challenge to our family in terms of making a list of what we are thankful for. Despite some adverse luck, there is still much to be grateful for, and I plan to consider it all with much appreciation.
Aside from the Thanksgiving itself, I will be working Black Friday and Saturday.... Welcome to the world of retail! I will be taking a the rest of the week off, so be sure and check back with me on Monday to see if any sewing got done!
Happy Thanksgiving Nicole! Enjoy your family! I will also be having everyone here. I have to work Friday and Saturday too! Grrrr! Not to far from home though!

Ah, yes! The traditional fare will be on the table - or mostly so. AMIL loves new recipes, so this year the green bean recipe will be new instead of the green bean casserole. I'll make Mary Lou's corn pudding that's been a family favorite since 1962 when we were Mary Lou's neighbors!
After Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches are our favorites. We put mayo on bread, and add turkey, a slice of cornbread dressing, and a good smear of cranberry sauce. The taste is just this side of heaven but it can be messy!
Happy Thanksgiving to all y'all!
Hugs!
