What a wonderful book. And you make it even more enticing. I don't play cards, but would love to play at making a few of those gorgeous quilts. About your studio -- Ikea will have all you need and more, and then you should have money left to buy more fabric, or put towards your long-arm quilting machine, or ...

Nicole, Thanks for the chance to win this book! Good luck with your move. I'll be looking forward to seeing you remodel the space for your quilting.

The remodeling project sounds exciting!

I've enjoyed the preview of quilts from Fat Quarter Winners. They are very pretty!

This book is awesome! And I am soooo jealous of your new studio-to-be!

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Hello Nicole,
What a fun building to have your quilting studio in!!! It has been a long journey getting to this point and I am happy you can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. You have wonderful things to look forward to this year---most of all your new grandbaby. : )
Your new Bliss baby quilt is adorable!!
How is your new job coming along?

Unfortunately I havenĀ“t got a quitling room. My wuilting room is my dining/living room.
Thanks for that great giveaway!

nope - no quilting studio to be had around here - we have the magick shoppe (it's where the magick happens - and there's so much stuff that we could shoppe in there) but it could not, by any definition of the word, be called a studio

I love the new book. One of my friends has suggested that I get the book and make the cribbage pattern. Every night I go to my dad's house - he's 98 - and we have dinner and play two hands of cribbage. We are pretty evenly matched...and no, I don't let him win. This quilt will be a great reminder of the games we played. (However, as it was my friend's idea, I think SHE should win the book!)

I can hardly wait to see your finished quilt studio. I may even get some ideas for my quilt room.

Great post, thanks!

I would love to win!

I am a quilt beginner, and I need to built my library. Will this book make it on my shelf? Thanks for offering the giveaway.

How exciting to have a new "Quilt Workshop" and what fun to fix it up just for you! Looking forward to seeing the transformation from wood tools to fabric tools! :) Also I have enjoyed the blog tour about Monique's new book. Thanks for the chance to win her book and the rulers!!

Deb A

I would love to have the book and the rulers, I'd put them to good use. Thanks

Love the book. I would go with the Ikea cabinets...less expense, you would get them quicker than a custom job and you would have more left over for what else...Fabric!
Congratulations on your new will love your own private slice of heaven!

Can't wait for the big reveal next week!

I would love to win the book at rulers! Fun giveaway. How exciting to be moving so close to your daughter and new grandbaby. You will have so much fun getting your new house ready and looks like there is lots of storage. Going smaller can sure work if the storage is good. Love the new detached area for your studio. Please show pictures of your progress as you go and best of luck with your move!

Hi Nicole,

Looking at your new space may inspire me to do something similar with my own area (I hope). Post lots of pix so I can keep up the enthusiasm! I've been quietly enjoying your blog for some time, I love your quilt from the new book, red and cream are my favourites!

I'd love having a book of new ideas for using FQs. I'll be all smiles when you pul my name.
