What delightful fabrics! Both Steam Punk and Crumbler are joyously happy quilts.

Since I seldom buy fabrics but work from my huge stash, I hadn't realized Denyse Schmidt was also a fabric designer. Just before Christmas I got one of her quilting books from the library and really enjoyed looking at it.

Hugs!

Love those colors! Thanks for sharing the information. I'll have to keep my eyes open for her fabrics!

I like her fabrics a lot but have some in my stash but I'm not her biggest fan. I just like my fabric a bit more playful more Bonnie & Camille or Fig Tree (or did you see Amy Sinibaldi's one? Beautiful:-) but to throw some DS fabrics in a scrap quilt is always a good idea!

Forget to aks did you see the beautiful quilt Rachel at Stitched in Color made with Katie Jump Rope? Here's the link: http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2016/01/jump-rope.html

I have a small amount of the original Katie Jumprope that i bought ages ago. I really, really love her brighter colors in New Bedford and her other more recent lines. so much color and fun! ;p

I love Denyse Schmidt's fabrics too. In fact, Hope Valley is hands down my favorite fabric line ever! I have love every quilt I've seen made with it. And, I'm on my third HV quilt and still have a bunch of it hoarded. I never got any of the original Katie either and will definitely get some this time around! o:)

I have a tiny piece of orange print from Katie Jump Rope--I too was late to that collection! Thanks for the reminder that there is a revisit to the line! Perhaps I can find some at the Road to California show this weekend. Must put it on my list!

Just love both of these quilts with the Denyse fabric. Steam punk is in my list to work on this year along with Jen Kingwells Glitter pattern! Thanks for your inspiration
