You haven't heard much from me this week, because I am up to my eyeballs in holiday preparations. The house is all decorated, the Christmas collections (snowmen, Santas, fairies) all displayed. The decorating is just about complete.
My week has been spent on Shutterfly projects. Have you heard of Shutterfly? They are a company you can use to make holiday calendars or photo memoir travel books. You can also use your photos to be printed on mugs or other gifts. I highly recommend them for holiday gifts that are super personal. Since Eva was about two years old, each Christmas I have made a Shutterfly wall calendar featuring photos of her from the previous year. They are totally adorable and both sets of grandparents, her mom and dad and uncle all look forward to receiving them. They do take time to put together, but relatively easy, and the results are so worth it.
See how cute the calendars are? If you are at a loss for what to get those hard to shop for people, something like this might fit the bill. The projects are fun to do, and everyone always seems to love them.
This year I did a 2019 Eva calendar and an entire photo book from our trip to Ireland this summer. My husband will love the photo book, and it will be a forever momento of the trip we can access any time.
Those books are just wonderful. They will be enjoyed over and over. Great gift Nicole!

I really like these calendars too. I make mine with quilt pictures - both finished and WIPs. Seeing the WIPs which have turned into UFOs sometimes motivates me to get them moving again.

My sister-in-law once took my kids for the day, photographed them all over the city, and then surprised me with a calendar at Christmas. I still love it. What a great idea and the cutest calendar subject of all, of course!

Shutterfly is a very generous company! They give away A LOT of money to worthy causes, especially on the Ellen Show! That, alone, is a great reason to use their products! Your calendars are definitely family keepsakes!

I have never done Shutterfly but received a book of my grandkids done with Shutterfly. Love, LOVE their books!

I did a calendar with pictures of my very special little grandson who lived with us for his first two years. Unfortunately I loved the first picture of him (January) so much that the calendar page is still showing January. I pre-ordered a book at the same time but I haven't organized the pictures for that. Something else on my to-do list.

My daughter in law does a Shutterfly book for me every year with pictures of the the previous year. I love looking through them. Your granddaughter is growing! My oldest grandson, 11 years old, is now one inch taller than my 5’6” height!

I have been a fan since my first child was born. Most years I have been organized enough to get the calendar laid out with corresponding pictures from the same month, prior year. I need to find time to get it done this weekend so they can ship without paying that rush fee!

I made a Shutterfly photo book of our vacation photos this weekend, it is for my husband. I think he will be surprised! I did it while he was watching football.
