Please make sure only 100% cotton batting and cotton thread is used. Using batting with polyester can cause a fire in the microwave. There is actually batting made specifically for this. It's called Wrap 'N Zap from Pellon.

Yay! I teach this class at my local quilt shop. I'm queen of the "quick and easy, get-it-done-in-an-afternoon" classes. My quilt shop owner appreciates that the beginning sewer might need these kind of projects to really get going!
