Well done on the taupe Sweet Escape blocks - they're looking good!

It sounds like your shopping adventure was a roaring success. Excellent! You've flung a craving for tomato soup on me. Today's lunch perhaps?!

We awoke to a heavy frost this morning. Where is spring?

I really like this so far, looking forward to the end

Sounds like a fun day! That is my favorite soup and I will be off to check out the candle scent!

Looks great so far, Nicole.

It sounds like a nice day of shopping & lunch with your friend. Your taupe & red blocks look lovely! I'm looking forward to seeing your next step!

I like your quilt start. Somehow the triangle centers change the focus, looking good. By my standards you've just finished a complicated quilt, and diving in for another. Love how you can work on several quilts at once. Haven't gotten back to that since I've moved since I have so many irons in the fire with family closer. Life is good.

Sweet Escapes is looking very good. And your shopping escapade sounds sweet, too. Love your Stringalong finish. What a lot of work -- and I bet the quilt top is heavy, too.

Very nice blocks. I love all the taupe. if I use the word "earthy" am I dating myself? Anyway they are really pretty. Glad you had a nice shopping trip. It is an effort for you to do it but it sounds like it was worth it.

That quilt is gonna be amazing! I couldn't have a candle that smelled like French bread...I would be driving to Whole Foods every few days for loaf of French bread... ;p

Your shopping day sounds fun. I love Bath & Body Works but have never noticed French Baguette scent. I will definitely look for that one next time I go!

Oooo love where you're going with your quilt blocks! Can't wait to see how you add the blue in. Sounds like an awesome start to your week, finding jeans is always heaven :)
