I am with you on solids Nicole! I like those that LOOK solid though. I also avoid any fabric with metallic accents. This is usually Christmas fabric.
I had a bad experience when I washed a quilt with metallic accents years ago. I am sure manufactures have solved the problem by now but
Once bitten twice shy. Another fabric I had difficulty with was
White on white that almost felt like paint. My long arm quilter had trouble quil ting it and requested I not use it again. I haven’t seen any in a while. This isn’t a rant just honest feedback.

What an interesting pattern! I clicked on the link you provided and saw the seasonal variations. Great idea.

You might try Moda Bella solids. They seem to wrinkle less. Love the table topper.

Love it! And I agree with you in the fact that solids are harder to work with. What if you made the Christmas one with tone on tones instead of solids??

That was fast. And it's oh-so-cute!!

So dang cute! I am not a huge Halloween person but I love the fabric. Nice job Nicole. Have a great day.

I agree about lining up intersections with solids! One smidge off & it sticks out & drives me nuts! Your Halloween topper is adorable--can't wait to see it quilted!

Anita

It came out so cute! You can't notice anything :)
