Congratulations to both Eva and you for her academic accomplishments! And I’m so glad you had so much fun at her basketball game - I’ve been attending my 7yr old grandson’s soccer games this fall, but I don’t get to see too much of the game, as I am kept busy playing soccer on the sidelines with his younger brother. I must tell you that I, too, succumbed to Corey Yoder’s Buttercup and Slate. I’m going to be making a wall hanging called Sunflower Stand by Heather Briggs of My Sew Quilt Life. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can get started for a couple months, but I am so excited to get working on it. Have fun with your Sew Along. It does look like a lot of fun.

I love Corey's fabrics too. I made a quilt top from her Springbrook line earlier this year, but it needs finishing. I am considering the Socialites QAL but would want to make a different setting. We'll see what others come up with!

Wow…great grades AND basketball…my favorite!! If you can…tune Eva into some women’s college basketball or even the high school teams. Stanford has some GREAT players! Congrats!

Corey Yoder's Buttercup and Slate has really tempted me, but for right now I have so many pretty fabrics to play with and I am enjoying those projects. Kudos to Eva on doing so well in school and kudos to you for your homeschooling efforts.

Those are beautiful colors in your new fabrics! So soft looking. When you're in an area with a sporting goods store, you might pick up a stadium seat to make bleacher sitting a little more comfortable. Congratulations to both Eva & you for successful homeschooling results!

watching those kids play is fun! I don't know how the coaches do it...but they do!

I love Corey's fabric. I'm using scraps of an old line to do some applique.

I hope you have a safe peaceful weekend with your dad.
