Will be listening to your podcast today as I sew. I've joined the Philadelphia library as I live in Pennsylvania. I have access to thousands of books!

Am considering sewing along for the Summer in the Country. Will have to assess what's going on in the sewing room now before I make the commitment. I don't need another project if you know what I mean.

The beans look delicious. And the quilt squares are Lovely. Now I have an ear worm with that old Fats Waller tune "This Joint Is Jumpin'" - the Nell Carter arrangement... That was nice of your neighbor to compensate you for the commotion!! LOL

The Jubilee quilt is looking good. I'd forgotten about Pattern Baskets patterns so I had a good look on her site.
I hope you at least got the sale price on those items!

What the heck?? I've had many garage sales & I'm happy to give away stuff that I know someone actually wants! My thinking is it's going down the driveway & I don't have to take it home or haul it to a thrift shop! I agree about the colors in your Jubilee quilt working so well together. And those baked beans...I understand why they're the hit of the bbq!

Thr beans look amazing šŸ˜ I'm not sure about the pick something out for all the commotion that came with am $83 price tag??? I'm gearing up for a community garage sale and I am so happy when something goes down my drive - less I have to deal with!!

Ina

I do love that quilt! I don't know what to even say about the $83. awkward.

off topic: our neighborhood has a private 'buy nothing' group that I recently joined. I've been able to pass on games we no longer play, books, some kitchen gadgets/pots. I even gave up some fabric. that.was.hard. the big test will be to see if I can get anyone to take my very large Welsh hutch. yikes.
